Fun Hostel Job in the Adventure Capital of Pucon, Chile
Hello to everyone interested! :)
Chili Kiwi Lakefront Hostel is an award winning backpackers hostel located in the beautiful lakes district of Pucon, Chile. Our hostel is all about providing a great social vibe and promoting outdoor adventure activities in the surrounding area.
***Upcoming positions - We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to manage the hostel***
We are looking for a fun, outgoing and responsible individual to join us! Ideally we are looking for a backpacker or person with backpacking experience that can connect with our guests, however anyone with a passion for travel would be a good fit for us! We do require our staff to be fluent in English and to have at least basic Spanish.
Some of the day to day roles of the job include reception duties such as greeting guests and making them feel welcome, giving good advice on all the activities and tours in the area, replying to booking requests and updating reservations, managing bookings, being social and encouraging an awesome hostel environment, and helping with the general hostel upkeep (although we do have a full time cleaner/bed maker). Further to this some of the roles of management of the hostel and bar include keeping track of stock and making orders, using workaway to find volunteers and manage our team, oversee our reservation system and booking engines such as Hostelworld, and work together with the owners to maintain competitive pricing etc.
The key perks of the job include free lodging, salary and almost all the activities and tours in the area for free! Not to mention an amazing experience abroad!
