Couple looking for management or partnership – South America
We are a German couple looking for a nice place where we can live and work. We are open minded, nature-loving persons. We are on the journey to the passion of our life.
We are right now in Peru - basically we go south, but we will visit Columbia later - we are interested in your offerings like hostels or any other nice projects like an outdoor company, a nice club or restaurant…for management, partnership, rent or take over.
Armando:
I ran my own company for business consulting in communication and telecommunication for almost 12 years. I know all about management and how to organize and promote things. Also I know how to talk with people, how to handle human resources and how to develop an idea – I´m a seller.
In the first level I had 45 employees and later I handled teams up to 200.
My philosophy is to take control in order to better manage quality and numbers.
I have been in Latin America since February 2012. I have experiences in different hostel projects in several countries.
One was in Yucatan / Mexico on a “farm” owned by a Belgian in the middle of nowhere. His farm is in an unreal spot. There is completely nothing and he is going to develop a place with a small dorm for six people and two private rooms with different standards.
Then I was in a hostel at the coast of the South Pacific. Here I used my skills in business consulting to develop better marketing and management. Sometimes if there was not too much work I went to the beach or in the neighborhood to take some pictures for the new homepage and the photo album in Facebook.
Another great place was in Panama. I worked in a hostel with almost 80 beds, with a restaurant and outdoor company / travel agency.
From August to November I was in a nice B&B in Bolivia where I took care of the whole place because the owner left for a few weeks.
Now I know about hostel management and organization in accommodation. Also I learned how you need to handle human resources in Latin-America. My time here allowed me to gather many ideas and concepts about how to run a hostel.
You can see, I´m very flexible and versatile. It was not enough for me to stay in Germany with all my ideas.
Juno:
After her profession as a legal assistant she studied health care management in a second qualification for professional health care. In all, she worked in health care management for about 10 years. She did develop four big senior residences and she took care of a project for senior citizen home assistance service.
She is a brave and confident woman. She just jumped into my direction and now she belongs to me like a part of my self – she is my woman and she will be always around to do what there is to do.
It means we both know how to develop and manage a project - no matter what. We explore Latin America and we will see where the wind blows us. In the end, we seek a place where we want to stay and where we can say with all our heart: this feels like our home. We are sure that we´ll meet many new and interesting people who lead us to new opportunities and experiences.
For any details or questions – just ask.
