Hello,
My name is Bianca and I work for HostelsClub based out of Venice, Italy. I'm a newbie to this forum type stuff, but it's never too late to learn, right?

Yes, I agree that DC is a great city. I noticed it was on the top cities on BudgetTravel list. I'll be headed back in June for a bit and will swing by DC Lofty. Thanks!

They have two locations now -- a new one opened in March right after I left. I was at the 7th street NE hostel.
If you go there, tell Roma I said hello :)

I have created an online petition against HostelsClub due to their theft of the HostelPower software. Please visit it and read the details: http://www.boycotthostelsclub.com
Thank you for your time,

Interesting, I assumed that there weren't any employees because I can never get a reply to any emails.

I know exactly what you mean! I worked directly with HostelsClub, in their office in Venice, for 8 months, and about 80% of my emails to the person I reported to went unanswered. Needless to say, that made getting things done on a daily basis quite difficult.
It is amazing that a company that runs that way can survive. I think most of their business comes from Italian hostels that just don't know any better, or else are so xenophobic that they'll choose an Italian company to sell their beds over foreign companies that are more qualified and provide much better customer service.
