Beach Hostel Scheveningen, Netherlands needs travellers for work exchange

Summer is coming and we have the perfect location, just 150m from the beach!! Jorplace Beach Hostel is looking for enthusastic hard working travellers who don't mind the odd bit of cleaning, bar and front office work in exchange for board; including bed, breakfast and free internet. Applicants must speak English and experience in a similar environment is welcome however enthusiasm and a can do attitude are just as important.

Jorplace Beach Hostel opened her doors in 2008, 140 bed hostel 150m from the beach in Scheveningen and a fifteen minute direct tram ride from the Hague. We have a lot of surfers/travellers who come for the beach, the beach bars and the relaxed summer lifestyle that being on one of the Netherlands best and favourite surf beaches has to offer. We also cater to the student market that comes to the Hague for the various ICC (International Criminal Court) and UN forums and trails. We are well supported within the local community and operate also as a hireable function space plus a café (lunches and dinners) that caters to the local community and guests. Jordy (hence the name JORplace) the owner is a well travelled ex pro kite boarder who has built the hostel of his dreams after travelling the world extensively for the last 15 years. The feedback we get from most of our guests is that it’s the best hostel they have ever stayed in.
