Come live in Brooklyn, New York City this summer!!! Work - Exchange position available
Hello travelers!
I am in need of an awesome live/work-exchange individual in Brooklyn, NY at the share house that I manage. It is set up hostel-style, but we are different than a hostel in that all of the housemates live there for a minimum of 1 month. Typically it's between 2 and 4 month stays. There are only 8 beds, but my housemates are from all around the world!! We aim to build community, share culture, and embrace diversity!
Our vision is to provide an affordable and supportive home for young people in their 20s who come to New York City to pursue their dreams. We host social events like games nights, movie nights, outings etc.
We need an intern to help us organize the details so my partner and I can focus on expanding!
Responsibilities may include but aren't limited to:
- arranging social events
- increasing & maintaining social media presence
- facilitating move in/move out
- enforcing rules
- light cleaning
- speaking to potential residents and making bookings as needed.
It's not a shift type job, but an is on an as needed basis. You will be able to have another part time job if you choose to balance both!
In return you'll stay in Brooklyn, New York right near the subway FREE!
