Resident Assistants at college dorm in Greece
We are an English-language college in Greece looking for responsible and enthusiastic people to work as Resident Assistants at residences for study abroad students from the US.
This is a part-time job for at least 4 1/2 months (2 weeks off at Christmas); the term may be extended until July 2015 or possibly longer.
Duration of job: Start no later than September 2nd, 2014 and end January 31st, 2015 (subject to extension until July 2015)
Compensation: Free housing (possibly also a small stipend)
Candidates must speak fluent English and Greek. Having traveled in Greece will be considered a definite plus.
Duties include:
· Living in the study abroad student building
· Supervising the study abroad students in the building and making sure that they are safe, well-informed and that they feel included in the group / program
· Reporting back regularly and as instructed on all housing issues that will be assigned during training
· Posting and maintaining house regulations and rules
· Helping during arrival with student welcome and check-in procedures
· Help with mid-term housing checks
· Helping with check-out procedures
· Acting as liaison between students and on-site staff
· Chaperoning students during trips organized by the school
· Chaperoning students to the bank, hospital, the doctor or other destinations
