Urban Garden Hostel Now Hiring Fall Staff!! (Mid-September - November)

Urban Garden Hostel is currently looking to hire our staff for the 2014 fall season. The summer season runs from Mid-September until the end of November. The average work week is approximately between 36-42 hours with shifts lasting 6-8 hours. We have 4 shifts each day including morning, afternoon, swing, and night.

Our hostel is located in Lisbon's city center and close to all major attractions. We are a 3 minute walk from Marquess Pombal square. Check us out at urbangardenhostel.com

This job entails attention to detail in a variety of different aspects such as managing bookings, handling the check-in/check out process, accepting customer payments, general customer service, allocating beds, and ensuring that all of our guests have the best possible experience during their stay at the Urban Garden Hostel.

There is also an aspect of daily tasks/chores that go along with this position. These tasks include, but are not limited to, cooking breakfast/dinner for guests, sweeping, mopping, making beds, and washing linens. All of these things make a hostel run efficiently and with the highest customer satisfaction. This aspect of the job is non-negociable.

ALL STAFF WILL BE TRAINED ON SITE, THE ONLY REQUIREMENT IS AN OPEN MIND AND A WILLINGNESS TO LEARN NEW THINGS AND MEET NEW PEOPLE!!!!

All staff members will be provided with free accommodations, breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entirety of their employment with the Urban Garden Hostel. In addition to this, staff members will be eligible for commissions based on the hostel's daily activities, parties, theme nights, pub crawls, and city tours etc…Urban Garden Hostel promotes creativity in our staff and we can promise you that none of your ideas will ever go unheard.
