Volunteer and be part of a brand new journey for our backpackers in Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka
Looking for experience working in a backpackers hostel?
Are you creative, enthusiastic and capable of being a trend setter?
Are you willing to get your hands dirty to achieve your vision?
We at Hitchhike Backpackers are looking for someone who ticks all the above boxes. We have a large new building in Mount Lavinia, Colombo with all the essentials for a family run backpackers hostel. We now need someone with creative flair, who is keen to make their mark and turn the hostel into something that travellers to Sri Lanka will love!
Volunteers will be given free accommodation and a food allowance in keeping with local meals. Some of the day to day tasks includes general upkeep of the property, interacting with guests as a point of information as well as on a social level. However, in the long term we are keen to develop a roof top bar, kit out our communal spaces and guide young/enthusiastic members of our family learn the backpacker vibe.
