Work exchange hostel NYC (Brooklyn)

Small guesthouse/hostel is looking for very professional and outgoing individuals for guest assistant position (NOT paid). This is a great opportunity to get experience in the hospitality industry, explore NYC, meet people from all over the world !

Description of the position:

Work Exchange Program (free accommodation at the hostel in exchange of hours of work)
Who may qualify: international travelers, international students, and NON new york state residents

Sorry, New York State residents application will NOT be considered

Guest assistant duties include but are not restricted to:

checking guests in
collecting payment
daily housekeeping (laundry included)
organizing events such as pub crawls, nightclubs, biking, movie nights, bbqs....

Intermediate level of english is required.

German, french, or chinese speaking is a +
