Work/Stay in New Orleans Award Winning Hostel!

We are a hostel located in a beautiful old home in New Orleans, Louisiana. We have fantastic reviews and our guests are becoming part of our family during their stay. We are always looking for work/stay volunteers who fill cleaning needs, light upkeep of a place or gardening and take turns leading our nightly social events.
We place an emphasis on maintaining our awesome atmosphere and creating great relationships with our travelers which can last a life time.
We expect our work/stay volunteers to not just be here for their duties and disappear, but to become part of the hostel atmosphere, to eat, have fun, hang out with the guests, and participate in hostel activities.
*️If you are here to "relocate", you already have friends in town, you plan on having another job, your partner is living here already, or if for any other reason your priorities are elsewhere, then this is not the place for you.
Work/stay volunteers who clean are expected to do 5 days of work and generally will perform 4-5 hours of work each day. They will be changing linens and cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms. We may also have some small maintenance projects around the hostel like gardening or painting.
Our work/stay volunteers will take turns leading our nightly social events.
Prerequisite:
- Must be aged over 21 years old
- Available for a minimum of 4 weeks
We have a shared dorm inside the hostel. It is for workawayer's only and not hostel guests. We provide breakfast to the workawayer's, a BBQ hot dog dinner on Monday, and also provide most of the workwayer's drinks while they are at the nightly hostel pre-game social events!

*WW2 Museum nearby (highest rated attraction)
*#91 Bus to WalMart and City Park 2 blocks away
*#12 Streetcar takes you to Uptown and French Quarter
