Work Exchange at Hostel in Costa Rica

Not sure what you want to do with your life? Have you realized a degree does not mean a fast track to wealth? Interested in living in a tropical paradise? Willing to work for very little (very little=nothing, but you get a free bed to sleep in)? We are always looking for friendly, customer service oriented volunteers who possess skills that can help make Castle Tam one of the best hostels in San Jose. Desired skills include construction, website design, online marketing, massage therapy, yoga instructor and IT specialist. This list is not all inclusive and if you think you can do something we would find useful then let us know. Job description includes working reception, cleaning, going to the bus stop to find backpackers, doing laundry and assembling and disassembling bunk beds to meet guests’ requirements among other things. If you think you are too good to scrub the occasional toilet then you need not apply.
Requirements for Volunteers
-speak English fluently
-some proficiency in Spanish (fluency in other languages a plus)
-some University or, if 18, proof of attending University during the next semester
-ability to use Microsoft Works products i. e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint
-willingness to learn new things
-think skinned (if you get flustered easily recommend seeking employment elsewhere)
