BED Hostels is hiring one amazing part-timer to replace a staffer at our downtown Colombo location who had a family emergency (hey, shit happens). Who: fun, flexible people who can make others feel at home while still being open to new experience. Someone adventurous who’s interested in the hostel industry and in travel itself. Someone who’s never satisfied with “good enough.” Nobody boring! When: beginning of September to end of October Where: Sri Lanka’s first party hostel in the heart of the bustling capital: BED Hostels’ Colombo location. We love Colombo, but we also encourage you to travel on your days off. So, what’s the deal? 20 hours/week of front desk, reception, event planning, and helping guests have the best possible stay 4 nights/week of event participation – you’re job could be taking people out to the pub for open mic night. Accommodation provided in a private staff room with ensuite bathroom. Food provided. PLUS, we are looking for one great staffer to manage the next Bed Hostel in early 2015.
