I am Giada, I have opened Mangal Hostel 2 years ago.
The hostel is located in Dibulla, an "offthebeatenpath" location with great potential. You have the most amazing Caribbean sea and river few minutes walk away, also the Sierra Nevada just 15 minutes away..the location is perfect, just 30 minutes from Palomino and 45 minutes from Riohacha ( both places very touristic).
I have chosen this location because I wanted a real colombian feel on the coast, real and authentic.
Mangal hostel is the first hostel in Dibulla, now there are few more hostels opening and there is lots of interest in the village. Dibulla is up and coming and it said to be the next best touristic place here on the coast.
I have rented an house and refurbished it, builded a "rancho" style 2 floor terrace outside , changed the layout of the house etc..it took me many months to get the house in a good shape, and then I decorated with many colours, little details and many recycled furniture and accessories...
I have invested all I had in this business, and put lots of effort and mainly love...
I have created few tours with locals, concentrating in discovering all the amazing spots that the nature has to offer around here. I work with locals and I try to be as sustainable as I can..

Guests in the last 2 years have felt the place and really really liked the local vibe here in Dibulla and in Mangal!
Mangal hostel has got amazing reviews on booking.com ( 9.8), trip advisor ( 5 stars), hostelworld (10) and all across google, facebook, instagram...
The food is something I am very proud of ( and guests love it), I prepare healthy food with strong emphasis on "vegan/vegetarian/free from" food etc....my vegan cakes are very famous in Dibulla and all along the coast!!

What am I looking for?
For personal health reasons I have to sell the business as soon as possible. It is my baby and it breaks my heart to let it go.
I am looking for someone that understand the challenges of an off the beaten path location and can put as much effort and love in the hostel and in Dibulla as I did!

Working with the locals is very important here. The new mere is very interested in tourism and there are many projects in dibulla that can be taken on..
With local people I have organised a farmers market once a week and this is a huge step through sustainability.



MANGAL HOSTEL:
-2 private double rooms ( shared bathroom and fan)
-10 bed dormitory ( shared bathroom and fans)

TOTAL CAPACITY FOR THE HOSTEL 14 GUESTS
-1 staff bedroom ( 2 single beds), eventually it could be converted in an extra private room
-2 bathrooms
-2 floor palm/wood "rancho style" terrace, tables and chairs for guests to have meals/play games/drink etc on ground floor. Hammocks and lounge seats on the upper floor for guests to relax.
-2 other common areas
-also open to the public for coffees/vegan cakes/breakfast/family style dinners/beers and drinks

I am asking for 8,000 USD, negotiable since I really have to take care of my health at the moment and I need to leave as soon as possible. This amount is not even a quarter of what I have invested in this business, but because of my health and the current situation worldwide, I have not choice than to sell it really cheap.
Please note that this is only for the business, the property is rented and the rent is only 200 USD per month!
Of course you get all the furniture, decorations and appliances with it as well as the website and the reviews that Mangal has already ( 9.8 on booking, 5 stars on tripadvisor and google, 10 on hostelworld etc) as well as all the contacts.
All the legal requirements and paperwork are up to date! You would need to pay legal fee for the transfer of the business.
