Hallo everyone !
Hi
I know this site for a long time now but just joined today. It is a great site, thanks very much for everyone who is involved in it. Keep up the good work!!
Now a bit about myself. My name is Sukrucan, I am 28 years old, I am a turkish guy grown up in Germany and Turkey. I have studied Hotel Management and gained work experiences in Turkey, England, Spain and Germany. I also speak the languages :)
I have worked in all kind of hotels and lived in hostels all together maybe 9 months all around Europe.
It has been my dream to run my own place for years now. I think I am ready, now its the time to make my dream come true :)
I know what type of hostel its going to be. I really like the new trend of boutique hostels. I have worked in a boutique hotel for a year and love the eye for details. I also love the design of a good boutique hotel/ hostel. And I think there not many boutique hostels out there.
I hope I can meet some people here who already run a place like that or have stayed in boutique hostels and would like to share their experiences with me.
See you soon!

Hi everyone. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time since my youth when I backpacked through the British Isles. In fact I learned about the deaths of Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix while I was traveling. I have some property that would make a great youth hostel in Mt. Shasta, California. A breathtaking area on the road between San Francisco and Oregon, Washington, Canada, Idaho and points North. I have some trepidations tho insofar as I don't want to hassle with bullies and preditors taking advantage of other more peaceful travelers, some people with less than desirable hygene that would preclude them living in close proximity to more sociable guests, and small issues like that. I also have no idea what is a fair price to charge for these kinds of accomodations.

Welcome to the site :)
I'm based in the East Bay. Mt Shasta isn't too far. If you would like some assistance, I'd be happy to go up there for a couple of days to check out the area and offer some tips. I've never been there. It looks spectacular. My email address is here.
