Hello from Bali

I have been living in Bali for about a year now and I want to make it my permanent home. For years I have had a dream of running my own hostel or small hotel. I realize it will be a lot of work and it is not something that is going to make me rich, but I want to give it a go.

If I go ahead with my plan, I imagine that it will be more like a guesthouse rather than a traditional 'hostel'.

I just found this forum today and while it seems geared more to hostels, I am hoping to still pick up tips on planning and marketing.

For a few years I have made money from promoting hostels on the internet through affiliate programs so I am familiar with how they work.

Is there anyone else here living in Bali or Indonesia?
