Introduce Yourself
I have been involved with hostel operations since I was 18 years old, and a hostel user since I was born.
First YHA in England and Wales, then in Scotland, followed by Independent Hostels.
I'm now involved in a social enterprise, supporting rural communities by helping them run hostels at a profit, for the benefit of society.
Always lots more to learn, so I am here to learn and share.

Wish I'd thought to look for a site like this before. There are so few resources out there to promote hostelling and help good practice be shared.
I'm also a fan of Couchsurfing. And hitchhiking. I have travelled for weeks on the smallest budgets using these with hostels. I hope to meet some of you folks some day.
