Hello,

I am planning to start a hostel within the next 6 years, abroad. At the moment I am looking to build contacts, become part of the community and do what is necessary to determine canidate countries in SE Asia to start my hostel, Japan is also a canidate as I speak the language. I got a business mentor through SCORE and have a blueprint for getting started but wanted to reach out to actual hostel owners for advice and guidance.

no way to edit but wanted to add, I currently volunteer at hi hostel nw in portland oregon, I've connected with a couple very business owners. I have an idea of what I am getting myself into and just how much work this will be.
