Hi all - we're an experienced, mature and multi-skilled Australian couple available for work/volunteer positions throughout Europe and the UK :) My background is in media production and marketing, my partner is a graphic designer. We've both also worked in hospitality, business administration and retail and we have just finished working in a hostel in Slovakia (a reference from the management can be provided). We can both work legally in the UK (UK ancestry visa) but we're totally open to volunteering/work exchanges too!

We're native English speakers, love to travel and are very hard working. In addition we can offer the following skills:

Marketing/Media Skills:

• Copywriting and proofreading (website copy, advertising copy, online articles)
• Can devise a marketing strategy
• Business writing (client proposals, funding applications etc)
• Graphic Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Can retouch and enhance your photos
• Can design flyers & posters for your business
• Computer skills (advanced Microsoft Office and both Mac/PC literate)
• Internet research
• Can improve Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and write engaging copy for your website
• Can create professional or personal online profiles (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Can write media releases, fact sheets, marketing letters
• Can write engaging product or service descriptions
• Can create and update your social media content
• Can write attention-grabbing CVs & cover letters

Hospitality Skills:

• My boyfriend has previously worked and managed cafes and is a qualified barista
• I have previously worked as a youth leader on holiday/summer camps in Australia
• Both of us have been working in a hostel for the past month
• Both of us have previously worked in bars and have our RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate

Other Skills:

• I have a current Police Check and Working With Children Check (due to my media work)
• Both of us have worked in retail so we are accustomed to cash handling & customer service
• My boyfriend paints in his spare time and has been commissioned to do wall murals, T-shirt designs and album covers etc
• Both of us have volunteered with children's charity 'C.H.O.I.C.E' in Cambodia teaching children and delivering food packages etc
• I have worked freelance as a TAFE teacher (technical college) in Melbourne and worked in a high school
• I am First Aid certified
• Both of us have worked as production coordinators - so we have excellent negotiating skills & organisational skills
• I have worked as a production manager for film & television - so I'm great at project management, scheduling tasks & budgeting!
