Hi everyone. Just a quick email to introduce myself to you all:
I work in a Dublin Hostel as the Marketing Manager. I have been with the hostel for 2 years and have enjoyed every minute.

A marketing person is someone who tries to find more guests to fill-up the hostel.......... it would be nice if you could just sit-back and wait for the business to come to you............ But this is the real world.
Most hostels don't have a marketing manager because they don't won't the hostel full at out-of-season times.?

Why would they not want their hostel full? Isn't that the whole purpose of being in business? Also, does a small size hostel need a marketing manager? Thank you. :)

ok. this is getting boring now..... my last word on the subject is that most small hostels have to try and find the guests for themself's..... they cannot pay someone to market the business, as they don't have the funds.. I market manage our hostel because: A. I enjoy the work. B. I only work at it part-time. and C. I also market another 2 hostels in Ireland. So, now you know.
P.s. Im always looking for more marketing work..... so do let me know.

This may s ound awkward...but I´m also a marketing manager...LOL
I find it amazing that I am working and being ripped off all together at the same time!

I´m in charge of so many things I do not know the "title" of my job.
Regarding the website: I loved the tour and the facilities, the house is amazing!
