My name is Dan Vineberg and I run a little site called The New Travel Blog

In 2016 it is my goal to make this site a great resource for information about EVERYTHING hostel.

How am I doing this?

#1, by creating quality content on my blog, centred around the page www.danvineberg.com/hostels

My current series "How to Hostel" includes topics such as: a guide to your first hostel, how to make friends at hostels, and if it's necessary to book hostels in advance.

#2, by growing a youtube presence through my Hostel Questions series. The series answers viewer / reader questions about hostels, ideally in a different hostel each time, though I must admit I've done a few from home Smile

#3, by connecting with hostel staff and management, LIKE YOU! I'm more than happy to meet anyone new and talk about how I could help promote their hostel, or just share information. This site will be a great resource for me, not only professionally, but personally, as - if you can't tell already - I'm a huge fan of hostels!

#4, I started the new year (literally, January 1st) with an "Ask me anything" post on reddit about the fact that I'm a budget-traveller who has stayed in approx 100 hostels. The post hit the front page and got me a lot of attention, hundreds of thousands of views:
