Hey All,

My name is Mehdy, and I have just launched a new travel Webisode (Web Episode) called The Hostel Life. I have traveled much, over my 32 years and realized that there has not been a well doen travel show about backpacking. I want to capture all the great international people you meet, cultures you learn, and break down stereotypes for the American Audience as well as others. My show will show everything form Local activities and festivals, nightlife, and also participating in charities along my travels. I am getting ready to shoot a Pilot starting in Feb, and would love the support of The Hostels. I will start my trip Feb 3 with my 2 to 3 other crew members in Panama. The premise of my show is that viewers will help dicatate where I go next, by what information I learn from other travlers or people I meet along the way. So my trip can take me from Panama to Costa Rica or perhaps Colombia. I have already had meetings with big networks and they are watchign closely.

Hi Mehdy:
Site looks interesting but lacks static pages for those that choose not to install flash or turn on some of the higher java script functions. Simple is always better and faster (with options for those users with capable modern computer systems).

In my humble opinion, you may be missing more than half of your marketplace without some modifications to the site (as most individuals that travel light do not have the technical savey to see through these issues. I could not even view the pictures with my browser because your entry page said I did not have java installed (a fiction), a sign of a conflict with my browser.

Thank you for your comment! Your issue is a very valid one and we are looking into it. But I am kind of stuck in the fact, that Java is needed to run the Webisodes, just as Youtube and other video streaming sites, they need Java for them to work.

I am looking into a work around.
