Rolling River Hostel

This is Steve here, and we don't have a building yet, but my wife and I are opening a hostel in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, USA. Originally we were shooting for an opening in the Spring of 2013, but things are happening quite fast and we may be opening sometime in 2012. We are both attending the conference in Vancouver and if any of you are going, we would love to hear your stories and be recipients of your wisdom on hostel management. We have lots of questions and are sure that this group has lots of answers for us.

Our "team" consists of a banker, real estate broker, architect and lawyer. The banker says we have enough to get started under leasing terms, but we were not planning on a building purchase for another five years. We are happy leasing for the starter hostel. I am excited because this week we look at our first buildings that could be our first hostel. Hope to see some of you in Vancouver!
