Thanks for the reply.. That is what I was thinking or hoping myself.. How long have you been running your hostel? Also how long did it take for it to become busy? Obviously it is going to be slower progress if it is a destination as people have to make the effort to go there?

I have been the manager here for over 13 years and still love the job as much as on day one.

Yes, it takes a while to build a customer base. But we now have about 60% of our beds taken by regulars. I have had to shut down all booking systems for the next 6 weeks as we are full just with the regulars who are flying in from Aus, NYC, Canada, etc. It promises to be messy!
