Hola Everyone,
I am new here as looking to start working in the hostelling industry in Santaigo de Chile. I have been travelling around Sud America on and off for the past 18months and have fallen in love with Chile so am looking to settle in Santiago.
I would love to work in hostels because I would love the chance to contribute to others travel experiences and also apply my skills as an event manager to the management and operations of the hostel.
If anyone knows of any work in Santiago or surrounds please let me know. I am keen to contribute in any way possible.

Have you tried La Casa Roja? I think I read on one of their listings (Hostelworld or some such) that they try to help out travellers with work wherever they can but I imagine this is a "work in exchange for your bed and board" arrangement.
Also there was someone posting on here in 2010 that they were opening a new hostel in Santiago so they are clearly a believer in the forum. Maybe do a board search and PM them (if you haven't already).
