St. Christopher's Inns won a gold award for Best Budget Accommodation in the 2008 Visit London Awards.
Facilities at the Village hostel on Borough High Street include, "a roof top hot tub and sauna, a late license nightclub, an early morning caf and a chill out room that has satellite TV and 24-hour access." St. Christopher's also has hostels in Edinburgh, Bath, Newquay, Brighton, Paris, Berlin, Bruges and Amsterdam.
The bronze award in the Visit London Awards was also given to a hostel — Palmers Lodge. Palmers Lodge is a 300-bed hostel that offers free Internet and wifi, as well as free breakfast and fair trade coffee.
