Hello all, a friend of mine is selling their crewhouse/hostel for sale in the beautiful island of Antigua.

What is a crewhouse? Basically, it's the same as a backpacker's hostel, but instead of backpackers, you have yacht crew staying.

What kind of yachts? Most yachties work on boats that cost US$50-$100m and have anything from 3 crew to 20 crew, or more in some cases.

The crewhouse is flat out for about 6 months of the year, and mid year, the owner closes down for a few months to go back home to Canada. It has amazing, uninterrupted views of English and Falmouth Harbours, and the Marinas are only a 5 minute walk away.

It has potential for expansion, and year-round occupancy (with marketing), but the owner doesn't want to do a lot now as she is getting too old to run it, and wants to move back to Canada. The owner hasn't listed on Hostelworld/Bookers yet, as she doesn't know what they are, and I'm sure HW/HB listing would supply a lot of business. I am trying to get a listing on there for her.

It's a very famous crewhouse in the yachting industry with an excellent reputation, and everyone knows of the Pineapple House in the island (due to their infamous parties).
