We are selling our small surf hostel/backpackers near Rosarito/La Mision - about 57 kilometres from the US San Diego border.

Current capacity is only 17 beds (in dorms and private rooms). A further 10 beds can be added to the already-converted basement to form another dorm.

This hostel has been open for more than 3 years and makes a small profit (based on the owner doing most of the work, employing a part-time cleaner and sometimes relying on lodging-for-work arrangements with backpackers). We have been somewhat distracted by our other businesses and have not expanded our hostel business. If marketed in the universities of San Diego and LA, this hostel has potential to be a good and lucrative business.

Rent for the premises is just under $1000 (USD) per month. Other expenses include electricity, internet, phone, cable TV and water. The hostel has the correct zoning permission for short-term accommodation.

Our asking price is only US$10,000.

The owner is pursuing other ventures and no longer wishes to reside in Mexico.
