About SIN PASAPORTE hostel:

It is the first hostel in the south of the city, which is an exclusive, safe and beautiful area. Nearby you can find Shopping Centers, Restaurants and Bars, Ecological and Adventure destinations, Universities and the public transportation is at walking distance.
All the facilities are new, the place looks like a hotel (check the pics), it has a quite nice swimming pool, a beautiful garden and a jacuzzi. The place has 6 Studio-apartments, which at the moment are divided as follows:

Apartment # 1 is the Social Area: Equipped Kitchen, Computer terminals with internet, Sound Equipment, Living room with a nice and creative sofa, Travel books, Games, Tv and DVD, plus lots of movies!
Apartments # 2. and 3. are used asshared dormitories: Each apartment has two dormitories, in each dormitory there are 2 bunk beds (4 beds). In total there are 16 beds. At SIN PASAPORTE 4 will be the max # of people sharing a dormitory.
Apartments # 4. and 5. are private studios: Private bedroom with a Queen bed, closet and fan. Private toilet and shower. Private Kitchen. Private living room. These usually are booked by families or a group of friends.
And the apartment # 6. Is where the person taking care of the place lives, but it's waiting for you, to be equipped to add 2 more dormitories (8 beds) to the Hostel.

At the moment that would be a capacity of 20 people, not taking into account extra people that are accommodated in the private studios (which has an extra charge).

Target Market:

The business has different target markets according to the season.

Holidays and Festival season: Travelers from Colombia and abroad.
School season: University students. Exchange students, Participants of University forums/events that are held during the whole year, and visitors of the students.
Sports Competition season: Many sports competitions are held in Cali. So these is a great opportunity to accommodate a big group in those dates.

So you don't depend just on holidays season! Universities are a brilliant market and it is the only hostel in this location, so there is no competition for you.

The city of Cali is becoming more and more touristic, its people, its food, the SALSA dance (the best in south america), its festivals and attractions are a great combination! Plus the majority of people entering and leaving Colombia pass by Cali, and of course they are keen to spend some time here!
