Popayan is a colonial white city with a village kind of felling, with lots of potential and some cool stuff to do in the surroundings. It is strategicly located as it is a must pass city on the way from Colombia to Ecuador or Ecuador to Colombia.

Popayan is not still developed as a top tourist destination, although there are enough people coming in order to reach the 70% of occupation. Because of this reason there are a lot of options to invest in other activities of the tourist sector.

ParkLife Hostel is located in the very center of Popayan, with an unbeatible location. We have 7 private rooms (from 2-4 people) and two shared rooms of 8 (worked perfectly as a 10 bed dorm before) and 6 people. The house have two common light spaces plus reception, a kitchen, laundry area and 7 complete bathrooms.

ParkLife Hostel has been runing for the last 3 years and is really wellknown in the hostel sector in Colombia. The business is runing smothly and appart from maintenance and enjoy your hostel living standard, you wont have to do a lot.

The building is rented and we have just signed (starting from the 20th of May 2014) a new contract of three years. The renters are a rich Colombian family that I don´t expect you to have problems with if you want to renew the contract. The rent is low in Colombian standards, and that helps to get a good profit from it.

We are top rated in Popayan in tripadvisor with two certificate of excellence for the 2013 and 2012, second best rated hostel in Colombia (on the date writing this) in HostelWorld with a 93% and a staff price of February 2013; we are listed in Lonely Planet South America, in Lonely Planet Colombia, Rough Guide South America, in Petit Fute South America, Colombia Facil, etc.
