Why we opened BaobaBed? We opened BaobaBed Hostel in September of 2017, so that our guests can enjoy a nice, relaxing, social stay in Yangon, Myanmar, the former capital. We are located in Chinatown right on the Yangon River! We consider ourselves a boutique hostel and provide excellent accommodation to our backpackers and tourists! We are here to make your experience in our country one that you will never forget!

Tour Desk: Our workers are trained and knowledgeable, whether you need tips for sightseeing, bus and boat bookings, or recommendations around the wonderful city of Yangon.
Complimentary breakfast included! Have coffee and tea all day for free on us! If you haven’t had tea in Myanmar, make sure you do; It’s a delicacy. Also enjoy a cigar from Myanmar for free. Find another hostel that offers that!
AIR-CONDITIONED ROOMS: We offer four 8 bed mixed dorms, one 4 bed female dorm, a double private room, and even a triple private room for a family of 3.
BEDS: Include a personal reading light, universal power socket, and a phone charging USB port. Also, a safe box, luggage storage under the bed, as well as pillows, linens, and a towel.
BATHROOMS: Plenty of toilets on each floor, hot/cold high pressure rain showers on each floor, and hair dryers.
FREE WI-FI: Kick back in our lobby and bar area to enjoy a beer Myanmar, mingle with other guests, walk the streets of Chinatown and pick up some local cuisine, and enjoy the city of Yangon with your stay at BaobaBed.
