MIAMI, Florida. January 16, 2009. The website of the adventure series, The Hostel Life, has officially been launched atwww.TheHostelLife.com. This interactive site provides the viewers a unique experience into the adventures of The Hostel Life creator, Mehdy Ghannad, The Hostel Life’s cast and their ever-changing travel locations.
The site allows viewers to explore the passion and creation behind the series concept, track in real time the crew’s location, determine the remaining week’s allowance and vote on the next destination of The Hostel Life team.
The series will begin in February 2010 in Panama. Due to the nature of the show, the destination beyond Panama has not yet been determined. Viewer votes will determine the team’s future destinations. The team will film for four weeks throughout the world.
Mehdy Ghannad, creator of The Hostel Life, discusses the uniqueness of the show’s storyline, "The most intriguing element within the show is the drama created by simply experiencing travel. We [myself, the cast and crew] are merely participants in how the story unfolds. Some of the situations and scenarios are just as surprising to us as they are to our viewers."
The pilot season is scheduled to be filmed in February of 2010, and all webisodes (episodes viewed on the web) will be viewable atwww.TheHostelLife.com.
