ME!!

Hello, hello. I am a young enthusiastic, energetic Canadian guy from our nation's capital (isn't that Toronto?). Seasoned traveller with a crazy dream of running my own hostel.

A year ago, going from hostel to hostel, I thought to myself that it would be kinda "cool" to run one of these places... not thinking much more than that at the time. But for the last few years, I have had a few dollars sitting around, wondering what the... could I do with this that would not be completely stupid. hmmm... "investment" can be a scary word these days :eek:

Fast forward a year and I am here in Poland loving this country, and city, thinking about the booming tourism here, an economy that is defying the recession trends, Euro 2012 and "boom"... crazy idea.

So that's it. I am a naive youth who has only a little business savvy and no hostelling experience.

I have been trying to find out all I can for the last month or so and believe me this website has been a blessing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have greatly helped me with many aspects of the hostelling word I hadn't even thought of. My road to opening a hostel is probably still a long and gruelling one... but hostelmanagement.com will definitely facilitate things... a bit. :D
