Hello From Houston

I am Lauria and I help run the Houston Hostel for my mother in law. I was wonder if there are any hostels out there that still follows the custom of letting people who works/owns other hostels stay for free? Especially in Europe? We are not talking about long term, no more than 1 week or so.

The reason I am asking is I won the 2 - first class Eurail tickets at a Hostelling International event here in Houston, and I would really love to use them, but the costs of flying and spending anytime in Europe is going to be too costly for my meager salary.

on another note, we do follow the custom of allowing other hostel employees and owners to stay for free with confirmation from the owner that they are in fact employees.
