Hello from California!

Hello fellow hostel owners! Like many of you, I'm very new to the world of hostel ownership and will be using and contributing heavily in the next few months.

About me: I'm a UC Berkeley Bioengineering graduate who teaches SAT classes on the side. I got into the hosteling world somewhat by accident. In looking at some properties with my girlfriend's parents, we found a terrific place in the Tahoe/Donner area close to a bunch of ski resorts and tossed around the idea of starting up a hostel to accommodate all of the college students that travel through the area to ski and snowboard. One thing lead to another and now we are in the middle of renovations and preparing the hostel to open in the next few months. I am personally the Technical Director and am in charge of the website, email, forum (soon to come), and all other things technology-related (internet, TV, etc.).

Anyways, that's me and I hope to get to know a few of you soon enough!
