Good homepage

Hi everyone,

Could you point out a hostel-homepages which you think is well done, or some features on some homepage which you think is a smart or fun or beautiful or whatever.

Without wanting to steal anyone´s ideas or features I´m brainstorming with my homepage maker on how we can make my hostels page magnificent so an examples of good hostels page could be inspiring.

I don't know whether it is well done or not but my home page has been very successful in bringing in new guests. The design is about 8 years old and needs better quality photos now.

Some important things which should be on the home page:-
Hostel name and logo.
Contact info.
A map showing location.
Simple links to the other pages.
Anything that is unique about the hostel.
Awards.
Travel guide quotes.
A quick pictorial giving the viewer an idea of what the hostel is all about.
Make it fun and colourful and an invitation to view the other pages.

If you are a new start-up then you should consider your web site as 'work in progress' for about 2 years.
