stag locations, best to be avoided?

what's peoples views on cities that attract stag weekenders? mainly from the uk and ireland... while they fill beds... is it worth it?

the idea of dealing with gangs of pi$$ed up louts is a bit off putting...

anyone here have any experience with this?

i'm looking into eastern block countries, estonia, ukraine, latvia etc...
