Hello everyone.

I'm travelling quite a lot (for business and pleasure, mainly in Europe, UK) and I've stayed in London's hostels for about a year. Which is quite long I would say.
Not so long time ago I started to think about the idea of setting up a hostel (small, boutique-type), targeting interesting crowd, backpackers as well as flashpackers. I'm doing quite a lof of research, got a lot of ideas (I work with event management, marketing & PR) how to make it different - really not looking into opening "one more hostel".
Interested in exchanging ideas, information, networking. Also looking for partners preferably with experience in: travel blogging, hostel, property management.

Just like you Tommy, I have traveled a bit (leisure and business), and I've noticed that I just don’t want to work in a office for the rest of my life, I work with innovation and marketing, right now I work for a training company (business education), but I’m ready for a big change!
I’m Brazilian, and I’m living in Brazil right now, to be more specific in São Paulo, a huge business hub and the city were the world cup opening ceremony will take place, more than a good reason to open a hostel, but that is not the only reason, I just love the hostel concept and I always dreamed to have one done my way.
I study design thinking, and I wanna apply these techniques to set up a hostel that meet the real needs of travelers and that create a unique travel experience.
I’d love to share my findings with you and exchange some ideas!

Hi, if anybody is interested in starting and operating a hostel in Vienna, and would be interested in an investor-managerial partnership, pls get in touch with me.
The steps involved are quite clear to me for set up and operation of the business, however , it would be preferable to have someone with hostel or hospitality management experience on board as a partner. With a background in finances and work experience in banking, I now feel I would like to get into a line of work which I find more interesting and would like to be self-employed in such a line of work as the rental accommodation business.
I have already constructed income expense models and have a broad idea of exactly what items would he needed to start up the place. A 30-40 bed facility is what I would be looking into. So if anyone stationed in Vienna or in the region would be interested in such a partnership and business, kindly let me know.
