Wester Caputh Farmhouse and Steading Hostel is in the village of Caputh in the heart of Perthshire , beside The River Tay in Scotland. The Hostel sleeps 17 in 5 bunk bedrooms, there are 2 shower rooms with loos and a separate loo. The open sitting/dining/kitchen area has a wood burning stove and opens onto a patio area. The kitchen has excellent cooking facilities and is equipped for all needs. The grassy garden area to the rear has picnic benches and BBQs. The Farmhouse sleeps 8 and currently let for self-catering holidays and quite often inconjunction with the Hostel. In the past owners have lived in the Farmhouse to run the Hostel business. Caputh is a quiet village and surrounded by fields and beautiful trees. It is 4 miles from the historic town of Dunkeld with Cathedral and medieval square, 10 miles north of the City of Perth and it takes just over 1 hour to get to Edinburgh. It is ideally situated (a few minutes drive from the A9, the main route north and south) to explore Perthshire and all its treasures and indeed Scotland as a whole.
