Guacamundo’s location of is strategic, it is located a few meters from Fifth Avenue, the ferry docs to Cozumel, the bus terminal, shopping malls, convenience stores, and it is a few meters from one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico.
Guacamundo concept allows guests to live a full experience in Playa del Carmen. Hostel services exceed the basic expectations; the location, design and cleanliness are the primary aspects people evaluate. The distribution of the dorms is innovative due to the concept of bunks beds/cubicles in two sizes: single (twin) and double. This makes it more attractive than the common concept. The layout of the bedrooms is designed to allow ample space within themselves. Lockers and air conditioning are some of the characteristics of these areas.
The Guacamundo concept consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 private rooms with in suite bathrooms. The communal bathrooms for the dorms are designed with a spacious layout and ecological showers, water at room temperature, which makes the nice shower after a day of sun on the beach.
Our hostel has a fully equipped kitchen. It consists of food preparation station with 4 elements, grill, griddle, deep fryer, ventilation and extraction vents. Ample storage space, refrigerator, blender, oven, microwave, coffee machine (2), trays, cutlery, pots, pans, etc.
Common areas are spacious and well distributed, with two sitting areas, dining area and a small shop for snacks and refreshments.
