Enseada Rio is a youth hostel offering low cost, quality accomodation.

We're located in Botafogo, a strategically located neighborhood that allows easy access to the main tourist attractions of Rio. Stepping out of the hostel, you can see the picture postcard view of Botafogo's beach with Sugar Loaf (Pão de Açúcar) in the background.

It's an easy ten minute walk to Sugar Loaf, five minutes by bus to the Copacabana and Leme beaches, ten minutes to the Ipanema and Leblon beaches and only 3 miles (5 Km) from Christ the Redeemer statue (Cristo Redentor), located on the Corcovado peak in the Tijuca Forest National Park.

The Botafogo subway station and a shopping mall are just a few minutes away on foot. The Botafogo neighborhood is home to one of the liveliest nightlife scenes in the city, with a profusion of bars, restaurants, pubs, parties, cinemas and cultural events.
