Finn mcCools in Bushmills is for sale. I had the business listed as for sale in January and had lots of interest but decided last minute to stay on another year before selling. I started the hostel one year ago.

In the first year Finn McCools won the award for BEST HOSTEL NORTHERN IRELAND 2011 from hostelworld with an avarage rating of 95% and 96.5 on hostelbookers

As the hostel business goes if you don’t enjoy what you do anymore its time to get out and do something different. I considered employing a manager on a profit share basis but dismissed the idea as even that would be hard to manage from South Africa. With 9 year lease available with the option to renew
FinnMcCools is only a 28 bed hostel. I used one room for staff so sold 24 beds at an avarage price of £16 per person per night. From this year the hostel should do great with the new causeway centre opening and all the exposure the tourist board is giving the causeway.
The hostel is perfectly suitable for a live in manager and owner or young couple.

Because I know banks don’t finance hostels I am willing to consider owner finance with a deposit to protect me
