Greatings from Lisbon!!!
Lisb’on Hostel is our name, and we are Lisbon’s newest hostel. We work out of a historic building located in the downtown Chiado area.
All through our 5 floors, we have 16 rooms, and a total of 114 beds. A garden is also part of our premises, as well as a terrace with a stunning view over the Tagus River, a reception area, laundry room, dining room and bar, internet/TV room and a game/sitting room.
We look for an enthusiastic communication because we want to show the world the best of Lisbon. Our efforts focus on bringing our dear city into the Hostel, and our philosophy relies upon the word of mouth spread by our guests throughout the world.
Our corporate identity is very flexible, made up of seven symbols, like the seven hills of Lisbon, each relating to a typical element of the city: tramways and street lamps, the 25th of April Bridge, sardines, Saint Anthony, the Portuguese guitar and the window eaves. Our floors follow the same rule: we have the traditional Portuguese saints and cuisine floors, the Lisbon quarters and fado singers’ floors. Rooms have names such as São João (St. John), Bacalhau (Codfish), Bica and Mouraria (two of the Lisbon quarters) or Mariza and Camané (most popular fado singers). These are some of the Lisbon features that we want our guests to get acquainted to.
We look for an efficient high quality service, targeting at cleanliness, respect and responsibility. Simplicity with charm and good mood is our priority; comfortable spaces for the customers’ relaxation are our goal.
We develop a strong environmental policy because we believe that protecting the environment is our responsibility, as a legacy to the generations to come. We use solar energy; we recycle, and use ecological products.
We wait for your visit and will do our best to meet with your high expectations. We believe in Lisbon as a wonderful city, and would love our visitors to feel it that way.
