Hostelworld, can we please have lists with the best non-Portugese hostels? This is getting depressing. :D

Maybe we should do the first Hostel Unconference in Lisbon?
Freudian slip? :D
Sorry about that :) I'm not typing -- I'm talking into my computer with a voice to text program called Dragon NaturallySpeaking. It doesn't usually recognize the word "hostels" no matter how many times I tried to correct it. If I say "hostel" it writes "hostile" and if I say "hostels" it writes "hospitals"

Err... eek!
When you talk with your computer, do call it by a name like HAL in "2001", or just "Computer", like in Star Trek?

Unfortunately it's not as cool as on Star Trek... I say something into my headset, the computer takes about five seconds to figure it out and write it incorrectly on the screen. Then I waste another 15 to 20 seconds trying to correct the errors.
I have to use this program because I have repetitive strain injury in my hands, and I'm about to start an intensive 10-month flamenco guitar program in October so I'm trying to get my hands to heal...

So, you´re really moving to Spain now for a year?
yeah... that's why I'm trapped in US at the moment and had to cancel my bike trip for this summer. I'm trying to get my documents ready for the visa application which then takes another four weeks while the visa office holds my passport.
Already registered for the program, so I'm definitely going this time...
