Welcome to the 2017 "Backpacker Week" which incorporates the Adventure Travel & Backpacker Industry Conference (ABIC), the Independent Travel Exchange (ITE) and the Golden Backpack Awards.

This year's conference will be held on the 8th November, in addition to the Independent travel exchange (ITE) held on the 8th and 9th November, followed by the awards evening on the evening of the 9th.

ABiC, now in its 22nd year, is the original and till one of the biggest and best events for the youth tourism sector.

ITE provides a forum for Australasian tourism businesses to meet other local operators in order to canvas new business opportunities and develop networking contacts

These three events should be on your "must attend" list this year if you work in the Adventure and Backpacking industry.
