As a type of OTA for private rooms it's quite interesting for me to take part of it.

Around 6,000 Airbnb hosts from cities across the world are expected to attend the Open, which will take place from November 12-14. The Open provides an opportunity for the Airbnb host community to gather in one place and connect with their fellow hosts from around the globe. Over two days, they will share tips and stories about hosting, hear from hospitality experts and together help shape future innovations in hospitality and travel.
"As the home of Airbnb's biggest community, Paris is the perfect place for this year's Airbnb Open," said Airbnb CEO, Brian Chesky. "Our tight-knit community of Parisians is incredible, and we've grown from just 4,000 listings in Paris in 2012 to over 40,000 today. The positive response we received from hosts who attended last year's Open blew us away so we can't wait to see what the City of Light offers all of us this year."
“Innovation and hospitality will be the two pillars for Paris to continue to outperform as the top destination in the world for tourism,” said First Deputy Mayor of Paris, Bruno Julliard . "Airbnb, with its complementary offering to hotels, is a great example of this and we are delighted that they are continuing to support innovation in Paris by bringing their annual host gathering. This demonstrates the attractiveness of the French capital and its capacity to welcome international innovators.”
Last year, 1,500 hosts attended Airbnb Open in San Francisco and a third of them came from cities outside of the US. The Airbnb Open in Paris is expected to attract four times as many hosts from even more international cities.
