I haven't seen them before. The domain name was registered in Feb 2007 by someone in California.
Interesting... the page labeled Chinese is actually in Japanese (サン・フランシスコ).
they dont seem to be a chain as such, some sort of loose network, but it is quite a diverse network. i started thinking it was just a bit-player in the booking engine network but the constant references to 'our hostels' etc means its obviously something more. anyone heard of em?

I clicked on a few cities. The majority of places I found were guest houses and not hostels. Those that had dorm beds, one failed to get as far as giving info, another had no vacancies on any night I tried so I couldnt see what their dorm rates were. The one in Barcelona called 'hostel' has only private rooms. Their booking engine is simply Hostelsclub, but that doesnt imply they are part of Hostelsclub.
(I'll start another thread about: Definition of a hostel)

They seem a very unprofessional outfit and it is possible that they have some hostels although the ones that BUG's researchers have visited have so far turned out to be very shabby hotels with only private rooms, but a sign outside that calls itself a hostel even though it clearly isn't a hostel.
