Hi There,
Me and my business partner currently own 4 hostels around Europe and looking to expand. We are interested to hear if anyone is selling their hostel
business or open to let us take over their business, Ideally we are looking at the major markets here in Europe but if we think something it's profitable we could consider other regions of the world as well. Send me a private message if you want to discuss this subject.

Hi there Fabio. We have a 42 bed highly rated Hostel in the centre of Porto, Portugal 5 minutes walk from Trindade metro hub. We love it but are moving to London to open a hostel there so it's time to move on (actually we have 2 hostels in Porto, one of which we will keep as it's smaller and easier to manage from a distance). The Yellow House is on 4 floors, with beautiful garden, with 6 showers in 3 bathrooms and 6 WC's, games room, lounge with library, WiFi and all fire safety regulations met and up to date - emergency lighting, extinguishers on all floors, alarms etc. That's a big deal in Porto as we are the only hostel to fully comply with the regulations - we spent about €15K to comply! We also installed a very discreet camera security system covering the front, back and communal areas of the house. You might know that Porto has taken off in terms of independent travellers. When we opened there were only 9 hostels - now there are 18 and the market is growing weekly. Lonely Planet have designated Porto as their fourth best city to visit for 2012 so I think we'll see a continued growth in this sector despite the general downturn...Get in touch! saul.
