Oh well.
We have a lot of German guests in Berlin - these are genuine travellers who make a weekend trip to their capital city.
In contrast, in Austria nobody really makes that weekend trip to Vienna. For most Austrians, it´s within daydtip distance. Most people have relatives or friends in Vienna (it´s the only big city), so they stay with them. If someone calls and asks for vacancies today and speaks in local dialect, I am highly, highly suspicious.
Hostels are not for people who have just been chucked out of their girlfriend´s place or all sorts of weirdos.
This is not about "rights". There is no Geneva Convention giving anyone the right to stay in any hostel anywhere.
