I have been in Lapa. I loved the neighborhood, but then it´s not the safest one, always noisy and not near a beach.
I would prefer a location in Ipanema.

Start a Hostel
i've currently been passed information of a hostel for sale in LAPA (Rio De Janeiro)... and I'm currently at research stage.
I don't know the in's & out's of running a business in Brasil and would require help on this matter.
would any of you purchase a running hostel in Lapa, Brasil??
the price is for €100k (9 year lease) the NET profit is over 50% on the amount invested.

thanx santa, I only came accross Lapa due to the fact there is a Hostel for sale there. I'm from the UK and was thinking it would be more of an investment for me.

actually lapa is one of the safest neighborhoods since its kind of the clubbin area of rio, .... if you buy it please let me know since i am looking to work in one
