If anyone can set Australia’s image right on its feet, Oprah can do it!
With images of Queensland’s flood crisis making international headlines, the Australian government is hoping the Oprah episodes recently filmed down under will change potential visitors’ perception of the country.
According to a Big News Network poll, up to 60 percent of US readers are under the impression that Australia requires international aid to rebuild after this month’s flooding. The Australian government has denied this claim, the Albuquerque Express reported.
I wouldn't be surprised if Oprah could change 60% of the populations perception faster than the mainstream news media.
